Learn About St Julien's Goals Toward Becoming A Green Hotel
The St Julien Hotel & Spa is committed to doing its part to minimize our impact on the environment. As a committed Colorado green hotel, we realize that the decisions we make as an organization affect not just the environment of the Hotel, but also that of the community. As such, the Hotel recognizes the need to be aware of how we affect the world in which we live. In an attempt to improve our environmental efforts, the St Julien has formed a Green Committee, whose goal is to spearhead efforts that will reduce the Hotel's footprint on the community – all while maintaining the high level of service and quality demanded by our guests.
As part of St Julien Hotel & Spa's Environmental Commitment, the following initiatives have been developed to help us become a true Boulder eco hotel:

St Julien Partners Issue Zero Waste Statement
The owners of this aspiring eco hotel believe that social responsibility to the environment is good citizenship and good business. Being in Boulder, Colorado, our clientele expect us to be environmentally conscious.
The ultimate goal for the St Julien Hotel is to become a Zero Waste Hotel. As such, the St Julien Hotel & Spa aims to reduce its waste from its high of 33 tons per month to a maximum of 3.3 tons per month by September 2010. This represents a 90% reduction in waste.
The St Julien Hotel & Spa believes that implementing a Zero Waste Policy will make us stand out as a progressive hotel within our community, and will place us at the forefront of the environmental and green hotel movement. We hope to inspire our employees as well as the Boulder community to follow our example.
