VIP Cook
Summary : The VIP Attendant is responsible for planning and executing a healthy meal rotation in the VIP Lounge (Employee Cafeteria) from ordering to properly storing, cooking and serving meals.
Essential Job Functions
- Sets up VIP each day with plates, silverware, napkins, condiments, coffee, salt & pepper, etc.
- Works with chefs to plan a wide variety of healthy, fresh meals for associates.
- Prepares salad bar items and sets up salad bar
- Prepares 2 soups daily; 1 soup made from scratch
- Prepares a main dish and 2 side dishes for associates each day
- Serves fellow associates in a friendly, cheerful, and respectful manner.
- Ensures proper storage of all foods, including coverage, labeling, dating, and using the proper containers; maintains the appropriate temperature of all foods.
- Ensures that all food served in VIP is fresh and appealing to the eye
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and empties compost, trash, and recycling into proper receptacles according to standards.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
