Restaurant Supervisor
Summary : The Restaurant Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to assist in overseeing the daily operation of Jill’s Restaurant. The Restaurant Supervisor also ensures 4 star/4 diamond standards are being met.
Essential Job Functions
- Effectively train staff so that they are able to consistently provide service that meets the Hotel’s Preferred/4 Star/4 Diamond service standards
- Review coaching and discipline situations with a manager before bringing the concern to the Associate
- Continually searches for ways to improve procedures and training
- Leads pre-shift meetings by sharing relevant information with the team for service
- Performs all special duties and projects assigned by division managers.
- Helps in developing innovative ideas and promotions.
- Plans large dinners and parties in close contact with the Restaurant GM.
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards.
- Effectively addresses performance issues with Associates in a manner that is perceived by the Associate to be dignified and encouraging.
- Plays a supporting role in all Starbucks trainings and evaluations (to include employee feedback) and re training on areas that need improvements and consistencies
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
