Overnight Guest Service Representative
The Guest Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing excellent guest service to guests checking in and out of the hotel, booking accurate reservations for guests, and ensuring that guests have an experience at St Julien that meets Preferred/4 Star/4 Diamond standards.
- Has the ability to perform all duties required in PBX, Reservations, and Front Desk
- Run all evening reports, i.e. Downtime, Non-Guaranteed Reservation Cancellations, etc.
- Handles guest problems and complaints and keeps manager or supervisor notified of guest issues
- Establishes and secures proper guest credit.
- Handles any billing questions and inquiries
- Enter wake-up call requests into PBX system.
- Perform all accounting duties including posting charges, account settlements, and shift closing.
- Complete a daily shift audit and balance all account settlements, charges, etc. to the property management system
- Handles all cash transactions and maintain a personal bank
- Maintain house bank and handle all checks and cash according to St Julien Hotel & Spa policies and procedures.
- Follows set procedures on posting, charges, safe deposits, and refunds.
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards.
Full Time
Guest Service experience required
3-6 Months related experience highly preferred
