Overnight Guest Service Representative
Summary : The Overnight Guest Services Representative’s primary responsibility is to assist guests with checking in and out of rooms, running various reports, taking down & restarting the system each night, and relaying information from the previous night as well as ensuring guests have proper reservations and an excellent stay, all while maintaining the standards of St. Julien Hotel & Spa.
- Knowledgeable of all duties performed by the Front Desk Agents and PBX Operators, and is able to perform their duties when needed.
- Check guests in and out, answer questions, and coordinate with concierge and bell staff.
- Run all evening reports, i.e. Downtime, Non-Guaranteed Reservation Cancellations, etc.
- Welcome guests, solve minor problems, and ensure guests have a great stay.
- Enter data into computer, including some minor accounting functions.
- Establish and secure proper guest credit.
- Handle any billing questions and inquiries.
- Has a cheerful, upbeat attitude and naturally shares optimism with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Follow set procedures on posting, charges, safe deposits, and refunds.
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor
