Nail Technician
25-30 Hours per week. Must be available for night shifts.
Summary: The Nail Technician is responsible for providing a 4 star/4 diamond manicure or pedicure for Spa guests.
Essential Duties
- Provides 4 star/4 diamond service to Spa guests at all times
- Sets up area for guests by cleaning and filling tubs, setting towels and arranging tools
- Greets all guests by name and explains services to guest
- Completes pre-session interview with guest to inquire about the type of manicure and pedicure the guest would like
- Ensures that guest is comfortable during treatment by offering neck wraps and food and beverage to guest
- Ensures that treatment is timed properly to ensure that guest is not late to other treatments
- Takes responsibility for the care and satisfaction of the guest during their treatment
- Provides client follow-up when appropriate; explains products used and application of home care
- Cleans area after each guest and prepares area for next Nail Technician; keeps Salon area clean and stocked
- Possess excellent knowledge of St Julien Hotel & Spa to be able to answer guest inquiries
- Performs according to company objectives regarding sales; actively works to build a clientele; builds customer retention and requests
- Attends regularly scheduled meetings and trainings as posted
- Keeps conversations with clients professional; does not speak with client about inappropriate subjects or use foul language.
- Creates an environment of respect and professionalism for co-workers and clients
- Adheres to St Julien's environmental commitment and Zero Waste goals
Qualifications
- Must be a certified by the State of Colorado
- 2 Years or more experience including work with natural nails
