IT Manager
Summary : The I.T. Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. The I.T. Manager will participate in all installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software and communication links. The I.T. Manager will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversees and implements direction of all computing technology associated with Information Technology at the hotel
- Provides leadership in setting the overall technical vision of the hotel
- Provides maintenance and support for desktop and laptop computers and end user support for hardware and software challenges
- Installs, maintains, repairs, administers, and troubleshoots equipment and software necessary for operation of the Local Area Network
- Develops and oversees implementation of solutions consistent with business strategies and goals of the property
- Evaluates property needs and technologies that can provide solutions
- Works effectively with other department heads and managers to ensure related systems are functioning properly
- Ensures that the property is in complete and current compliance with all applicable laws, statutes and requirements related to systems, soft and hardware, safety and users
- Must be available to be on-call 24/7 and for after-hours maintenance
- Other duties as requested by supervisor
Experience Required:
Strong knowledge of network and PC operating systems, VM ESX Ware, Microsoft Server/Exchange 2003, active directors. Experience with LAN, WAN and WLAN implementation, experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and network management best practices. PMS and POS helpful.
