Group Rooms Coordinator

Summary : The Group Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Reservations, Sales, & Catering departments with providing exceptional guest service. Additionally, they will field telephone inquiries and reservations to provide efficient, accurate, and courteous reservation services while maintaining on-going communication with group sales and the front desk.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides individual, dedicated reservation assistance via the hotel’s primary reservation telephone line for guest inquiries.
  • Manages the input of group/convention/wedding room lists, updates and billing instructions for room reservations. 
  • Communicates with Conference Service, Sales Managers and Rooms Managers with regard to rooming list manifests, edits, special requests and VIPs.
  • Maintains and tracks systematic communication with Meeting Planners adhering to St Julien-specific and 4 Star / 4 Diamond standards at all times.
  • Assists with research and communication of travel agency commission and inquiries.
  • Assists with other general departmental requests that include filing of reservation paperwork, correspondence with guest requests via email or extranet, processing of credit card authorizations, processing of gift cards, and other requests for information.
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Full Time

Flexible availability required

Hospitality experience preferred

Must have strong written and oral communication skills
