Front Desk Supervisor
Summary : The Front Desk Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to supervise the Guest Service Representatives (GSRs) and run the day to day operations of the Front Desk according to Preferred/4 Star/4 Diamond Standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Effectively trains staff so that they are able to consistently provide service that meets the Hotel’s Preferred/4 Star/4 Diamond service standards; Attends necessary training sessions for supervisors/managers.
- Supervises a staff of up to 4 people.
- Sets the example for all GSRs and Front Office staff by providing 4 Star/4 Diamond service at all times
- Answers phone calls in a professional manner and assists guests with questions, directions, and reservations.
- Handles guest problems and complaints with courtesy and expediency, keeping manager notified of all issues
- Ensures that GSRs provide 4 Star/4 Diamond service and follow all procedures as outlined in shift check lifts
- Establishes and secures proper guest credit; Handles any billing questions and inquiries.
- Performs all accounting duties including posting charges, account settlements, and shift closing.
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works at a quick, steady pace to accomplish task in an efficient and timely manner
- Other duties as required
