Busser
Summary : The Restaurant Busser’s primary responsibility is to provide the initial set up of table service and clearing the table after meals. The Busser provides bread and water before and during meal and also provides assistance to service staff when requested. The Busser consistently follows 4 star/4 diamond/Preferred service standards.
This position would also have some shifts as an Expediter.
- Greet every guest and Associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile; Use guest names at every opportunity.
- Serve bread, water, and butter and replace or refill as necessary.
- Clear dirty dishes from previous guest and reset table for next guest.
- Stock and maintain all service stations.
- Provide general clean-up when needed.
- Assist server when needed.
- Maintain overall cleanliness in the restaurant.
- As expediter: Tray up guest's plates quickly and efficiently, communicate with server's about when food will be ready to be delivered.
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards.
- Other duties as required by supervisor
