Breakfast Cook
Summary: Reliable and responsible for opening the kitchen at 5:30 AM, able to handle high volume, produce and present outstanding food and keep work area clean and organized.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform a variety of tasks required in the preparation, cooking, portioning, and/or serving of food following prescribed menus, formulas, and established standards of the St. Julien Hotel & Spa.
- Responsible for sanitation and appearance of work areas in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Ensures proper storage of all foods, including coverage, labeling, dating, and using the proper containers; maintains the appropriate temperature of all foods.
- Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and empties compost, trash, and recycling into proper receptacles according to standards.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Culinary Experience Required. Willing to work any shift: brunch, special events and banquets when necessary.
