Bartender
Summary : The Bartender is responsible for mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered by Cocktail Servers and guests and to serve them in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner. The Bartender must provide 4 Star/4 Diamond service and responsible alcohol service at all times.
Essential Job Functions
- Follows service sequences and timing
- Provides guest with information about all specials; upsells menu items as appropriate
- Make alcoholic drinks for all outlet servers according to standard
- Remains knowledgeable about drink lists, menu items and ingredients
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Request identification when legal age is in question.
- Must attend liquor law classes within 6 months of hire.
- Perform all opening, running, and closing routines.
- Requisition all supplies as needed on a daily basis.
- Prepare garnishes as prescribed; limes, lemons, etc.
- Ensure adequate supply of clean glassware.
- Keeps bar clean at all times; wipes down liquor bottles and bar to maintain cleanliness.
- Adheres to St Julien’s environmental commitment and Zero Waste goals
- Performs side work to ensure that items are properly stocked
Full Time. Previous experience required.
