Barista

Summary : The Barista is responsible for mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered and to dispense them in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner to servers, attendants, and guests at the bar. The Barista serves guests in the bar area and ensures that the guest’s food and drink needs are met according to 4 Star/4 Diamond/Preferred service standards

Essential Job Functions

• Requisitions all supplies as needed and keeps bar area stocked
• Prepares necessary garnishes such as limes, lemons, cinnamon, sugar, milks, etc.
• Keeps adequate supply of clean glassware ready at all times
• Wipes down entire bar frequently to ensure a high level of cleanliness and sanitation
• Offers menus and serves food and drinks to customers in the bar
• Busses bar area in a timely manner
• Prepares coffee drinks for servers in all outlets
• Requests identification for alcoholic beverages when legal age is in question
• Remains knowledgeable about service sequences, coffee service, products, wine list and specialty drinks
• Sets up liquor and wine displays.
• Within 6 months of hiring, must attend liquor law classes.
• Follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

2 Years experience required.

Must have flexible, AM availability.
