Banquet Server
Summary : The Banquet Server is responsible for providing excellent service during all banquet events.
Essential Duties
- Performs service during banquet events that meet 4 star/4 diamond standards
- Ensures that guests are happy and that problems are directed to Banquet Captain or Manager if necessary
- Assists with event set-up including polishing silverware, setting tables, and setting up buffets
- Communicates effectively with banquet chef and cooks to ensure timely and correct delivery of food
- Performs wine service
- Prepares for the future by continually looking for things that need to be done
- Cleans up at the end of events
- Carries heavy trays while servicing an event
- Adheres to St Julien's environmental commitment and Zero Waste goals
Part Time
Previous banquets experience highly preferred
Must be able to carry a tray and walk with up to 10 serving plates or 20 dishes and silverware at a time.
