Banquet Bartender
Summary : The Banquet Bartender is primarily responsible for providing professional bar service to guests during Banquet events. The Bartender is also responsible for bar set-up, break-down, and responsible alcohol service
Essential Job Functions
- Sets up all bars according to directions on BEOs
- Requisitions all liquor with help of Banquet Managers/Beverage Manager and conducts proper inventory and accurate bar check; Stocks and supplies all dinner wines for the Banquet team
- Performs bartending service during banquet events according to 4 Star/4 Diamond standards
- Ensures responsible alcohol service by ensuring that minors or intoxicated guests are not served alcoholic beverages
- Ensures that guests are happy and that problems are directed to Banquet Captain or Manager if necessary
- Assists with side work for other events such as polishing silverware, folding napkins, and asking for things to do when slow.
- Keeps an accurate cash bank for all cash bars
- Keeps bar, store room, and Banquets hallway clean and organized at all times
- Breaks down bar completely at the end of an event; follows St Julien’s Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards.
