Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Summary : The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for supervising and assisting the housekeeping staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms, public, and service areas of the hotel.
Essential Duties
- Manages Housekeeping staff; writes weekly schedule, coaches and disciplines as necessary, and completes performance reviews on time
- Treats Associates with respect and dignity in regard to scheduling, diversity, appreciation and recognition, suggestions for improvement, and other pertinent job issues
- Continually searches for ways to improve procedures, training, interviewing, and other Hotel services
- Assists Executive Housekeeper with all duties
- Interviews and selects associates
- Develops and implements training programs to ensure 4 star/4 diamond standards
- Handles guest complaints with courtesy and expediency
- Maintains a professional approach to decision making
- Inspects rooms to ensure cleanliness and accuracy
- Ensure safety training is up to date and continuous
- Adheres to St Julien's environmental commitment and Zero Waste goals
